RSCIA Meetings

The club holds AGMs, MGMs, ECMs, and EGMs to discuss important matters and make decisions. Members are encouraged to participate.

1.0 Meetings

The Club has the following meetings:

  • Annual General Meeting (AGM)
  • Monthly General Meetings (MGM)
  • Executive Council Meetings (ECM)
  • Extra-Ordinary General Meeting (EGM)

 

2.0 Annual General Meeting (AGM)
  1. The AGM is held every first Saturday of July.
  2. The business of the AGM includes receiving the Captain’s Report on the Club’s activities and any other relevant matters.
  3. The Captain’s Report includes, but is not limited to, the Club’s financial report, the TM’s report, and the auditor’s report.
  4. Notice of the AGM is given seven (7) days prior to the meeting.

 

3.0 Monthly General Meeting (MGM)
  1. MGMs are held every first Saturday of the month, excluding July.
  2. Each member is expected to attend at least seven (7) MGMs every year before the AGM to be eligible to participate and vote on issues.

 

4.0 Executive Council Meeting (ECM)
  1. The Executive Council meets once every month before the MGMs, excluding July.

 

5.0 Extra-Ordinary General Meeting (EGM)
  1. The Executive Council, whenever necessary, calls for an EGM to discuss urgent matters affecting the Club.
  2. Notice of the EGM is given twenty-four (24) hours before the meeting.
