RSCIA AIMS & OBJECTIVES

The Royal Sports Club of Nigeria is committed to fostering sportsmanship, camaraderie, and excellence in sports. Our objectives extend beyond the game, encompassing social interaction, professional networking, and community impact. Below are our key aims and objectives:

1.0 Promoting Sports & Comradeship
  1. To carry on activities as promoters of sports and comradeship, creating a forum for athletes and sports lovers to cooperate and interact.
  2. To confer with Government at all levels (Federal, State, and Local), including the Federal Capital Territory, on matters affecting sports and its administration.
  3. To promote excellence in sports, encourage fair play, and foster good sportsmanship.
  4. To create a forum for interaction among members, their families, and guests.

 

2.0 Social, Recreational & Sporting Activities
  1. To promote social, recreational, and sporting activities amongst members and the public.
  2. To facilitate football matches with clubs that share similar visions with the Royal Sports Club of Nigeria.
  3. To encourage business networking and collaboration among members.

 

3.0 Information & Advocacy
  1. To distribute relevant sports-related information to members through publications and periodicals.
  2. To advocate for sports development in Nigeria and contribute to policy formulation.
  3. To explore partnerships with the Government through Private Public Partnerships (PPP) in sports-related matters.

 

4.0 Philanthropy & Community Development
  1. To engage in philanthropic and charitable activities.
  2. To organize public enlightenment programs, workshops, and symposia on national and international issues.
  3. To promote sports activities in educational institutions.
  4. To encourage sporting activities within the Nigerian Labour Force to promote physical fitness.
  5. To assist and support talented Nigerian sportsmen and women.

 

5.0 Business & International Collaborations
  1. To establish and own businesses, including but not limited to sports, media, and recreational facilities.
  2. To collaborate with sports organizations within and outside Nigeria to promote sports and global peace.
  3. To organize international sports events in commemoration of Nigeria’s national holidays.
  4. To conduct talent hunts among youths, especially in underserved communities.
  5. To undertake any other activities as determined by the board or management.
