RSCIA Past Achievement

Under the leadership of this executive, the club has continued to make giant strides and achieved significant milestones for the progress and development of the club. Some of the exploits and feats achieved within the year include the following:

  • Completion of construction of RSCI shower room and toilet facilities
  • Successful approval of RSCI club house plan by Abuja Department of Parks & Recreation
  • 3D Design and development of club house building plan
  • Successful submission of RSCI club house to FCDA for final approval of building plan
  • Procurement of additional containers for construction of RSCI club house
  • Reconstruction and reinstallation of collapsed wire mesh and block fence in the arena
  • Revamping and rewiring of electrical fittings and floodlights in the arena
  • Fabrication of galvanized lighting poles and installation of solar lights
  • Sustained a strong and positive increase in the club’s assets base
  • Successful celebration of the golden jubilee of members 50 years and above in Lagos
  • Facilitated medical fundraising to assist Mr. Ikenna Okolo in undergoing surgery
  • Carried out an annual charity fund drive and visitation to an orphanage home and hospital
  • Successful hosting of BOT & Captains Cup 2023 Tournament
  • Successful hosting and completion of BOT 2024 Tournament with increased prize awards
  • Amendment of a few sections in the club’s by-laws and constitution
  • Upward review of intending membership fee
  • Replacement and reinstallation of a cool cover curtain in our arena
  • RSCI Annual Thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Anglican Church Riverpark, hosted by BOT Molokwu Azikiwe
  • Successful hosting of the 2023 Gala Night and Family Picnic
  • Support bereaved members through attendance and financial support
  • Active participation in burial and fundraising for the family of Late Nkem Ejike
